Al-Khair Trust Relief Foundation, Karachi, Pakistan

Al-Khair Trust Relief Foundation is a purely charitable organization that has been serving those in need for 24 years. It was established under the guidance of scholars to assist the poor, needy, orphans, widows, the disabled, and individuals affected by natural disasters. The foundation was founded in 2001 in Karachi as a result of the prayers of Amir Markazi Hazrat Maulana Khawaja Khan Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) and the consultation of renowned scholars, traders, and intellectuals in Pakistan. The founder is Haji Muhammad Idris, and Haji Muhammad Tahir Ansari is currently serving as the Chairman.

Objectives and Goals of the Organization

Al-Khair Trust Relief Foundation, as a purely charitable institution, aims to provide moral and financial support to distressed individuals and impoverished families worldwide, particularly to those affected by drought, floods, earthquakes, and other disasters, including orphans, widows, and impoverished families.

The organization operates in approximately 30 sectors and aims to establish various other sectors as needed to provide effective services.

Food Sector

Delivering all kinds of food supplies (emergency packages, relief packages, monthly and annual packages) to the doorsteps of affected individuals.

Water Supply Sector

Finding, producing, and facilitating water in areas lacking water through various means, including tanks, wells, solar system boring, and the establishment of dams in villages.

Clothing Sector

Providing tents, warm blankets, quilts, clothes, jackets, boots, and socks to families affected by severe cold and residents of temporary camps, as well as wood, charcoal, and gas cylinders for those living in snowy areas.

Health Sector

Distributing medicines to affected individuals at all levels, transporting impoverished people to hospitals for treatment, organizing free medical camps in underserved communities, building hospitals and treatment centers, and providing essential items like beds, wheelchairs, walkers, etc., to the needy. Through the Al-Khair Blood Donor Society, clean blood is provided to patients.

Prosperity Sector

Assisting destitute families with Eid celebrations, including Qurbani and Eid clothes, and support during festive occasions.

Publishing and Media Sector

Publishing educational and religious books, copies of the Quran, and promoting the importance of service to humanity through print, social, and electronic media.

Education and Training Sector

Facilitating access to schools and madrasas for children who are out of education and promoting Quranic education, establishing educational centers, and arranging permanent food and lodging for orphans and needy children.

Construction and Development Sector

Rebuilding homes for homeless individuals and reconstructing houses destroyed in any disaster, along with establishing mosques, madrasas, and religious service centers, and building schools in impoverished areas.

Invitation and Guidance Sector

Organizing gatherings and forming groups worldwide to awaken the spirit of service to humanity, guiding and assisting individuals during Hajj and Umrah, and striving to eliminate all evils through invitation and reform.

Planting trees in every vacant space across the country, especially in Karachi, to create urban forests.

Plantation Sector

Rural Development Program

Providing education, skills, and recreational opportunities for the children of villages, as well as offering local employment for women in need and the unemployed, includes improving water, health, and sewage management, along with other essential services in rural areas.
